Hanoi, 25 - 26 October 2011Germany Trade & Invest and the German Industry and Commerce Vietnam organized an evening reception at the Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Hanoi on the 25th of October 2011. At the evening reception Marko Walde, Chief Representative of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam and Carsten Mayer-Wiefhausen, Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi welcomed the guests. Michael Pfeiffer, Chief Executive of Germany Trade & Invest, gave a brief overview of the activities of the agency and summarized the various advantages of the business location Germany and Eastern Germany respectively. In his keynote speech Andreas Campioni, Director of Duc Viet Food Joint Stock Company, illustrated the longstanding German-Vietnamese business cooperation in his meat processing company. Participants had the chance to get to know successful businesses from Eastern Germany and Vietnam, and to learn how their own company can profit from doing business in Europe’s largest marketplace. Ho Chi Minh City, 27 - 28 October 2011Germany Trade & Invest and the German Industry and Commerce Vietnam organized an executive dinner at the InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on the 27th of October 2011. At the evening reception Marko Walde, Chief Representative of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam welcomed the guests. Michael Pfeiffer, Chief Executive of Germany Trade & Invest, gave a brief overview of the activities of the agency and summarized the various advantages of the business location Germany and Eastern Germany respectively. The keynote speech was held by Frank Schellenberg, Chief Executive of GHP Far East CO. Ltd., who presented the success story of his IT-company and talked about the excellent cooperation with Vietnamese Partners. Participants had the chance to get to know successful businesses from Eastern Germany and Vietnam, and to learn how their own company can profit from doing business in Europe’s largest marketplace.
